Second Term: Ibarapa North PDP Stakeholders Unanimously Endorse Lateef Akorede As Consensus Candidate

Political stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibarapa North Local Government Area has unanimously endorsed the incumbent Chairman, Hon. Lateef Adebare Akorede for second term.

The decision which was taken at a stakeholders meeting of the party where it was concluded that all stakeholders should rally around Lateef Akorede for second term.

Lateef Akorede was the only candidate that obtained the nomination form after the resolution of the stakeholders, which makes him an unopposed candidate of the party to contest the next local government election.

Some stakeholders present during the meeting that threw their weights behind the consensus arrangement includes Olayiwola Ojoogun, (Party Chairman), Tijani Monsuru (Party Secretary), All Ward Chairmen, Chief Ogunjimi, K.S Olanrele (Great Mother), Mr. Popoola Salau, Hon. Badmus Dauda representative of Hon. P.G Ojedokun ( Member Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibarapa Central/North State Constituency), among others.
