House of representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Afijio/Atiba/Oyo East/Oyo West Federal Constituency, Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi Skimeh, has met with the leadership of students community in Atiba Constituency of Oyo town.
Skimeh and the house of assembly candidate of the All Progressive Congress in Atiba State Constituency who was a former speaker of OYHA, Rt. Hon Asimiyu Alarape, met with the leadership of the students’ body on Sunday in Oyo.
The meeting which had representatives of students leadership from Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Ekiti State University (Oyo Campus) and some student Union stakeholders in the jurisdiction.
Hon. Adeyemi, candidate for the house of representatives and serving member, said he had facilitated lots of projects to the benefits of the College and will still do more after emerging victorious at the February 2023 poll.
“For consecutive eight years, Hausa/Fulani had occupied the Presidency of our nation, some of the Hausa/Fulani stakeholders found it necessary to shift power to the South, now we have Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our leader who is experienced, illustrious and the maker of many outstanding politicians of notes, I want to admonish you to support the candidacy of Tinubu, that’s the only thing that will bring dividends of democracy closer to us.
“We have made our inputs by giving proper and effective representation, part of which was the standard ICT and facilities we provided for Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, that you all enjoy in the campus.
“Students here present, you have been facing a lot, your institution is now been controlled by a consultant making things unbearable for the students and managements, it’s high time for you to make another decision, if you like, you can vote those who will be using a dictatorial consultant to make decisions for your institution without meaningful projects to point at, he added.”
Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi who seek reelection bid for all candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) from the federal to the state levels, also promised to donate two laptops for the students.
