Newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to President on Students Engagement, Asefon Sunday Dayo has expressed his heart of gratitude to President Bola Tinubu over his appointment.

The former NANS President who was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Senior Special Assistant on Students Engagement had on Sunday expressed his gratitude to the President and other political actors, also made his commitment to the students community.

In a statement sighted by SpyGist Media on his social media timeline reads in parts;

MY GRATITUDE AND COMMITMENT TO A NIGERIA OF OUR HOPE!!!

Words are not enough to express my sincere heartfelt appreciation to you all for the unprecedented display of love, solidarity and felicitations that greeted the official announcement of my Appointment as Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR on Student Engagement.

This would not have happened, without God and the unequalled Love and Patriotism of the Father of the New Nigeria, our dear President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.

Indeed, I was overwhelmed, with the calls, the text messages and Chats including Conventional and Social Media congratulatory statements from various Student bodies and well wishers from within and outside Nigeria.

Let me say, that my appointment is a further confirmation, of the uncommon passion of Mr President, for youth practical and meaningful inclusion in Governance and education. I appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for the confidence repose in me with this appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Student Engagement, as I pledge to put in my best, rally the student community for overall National growth and success of the Renewed Hope administration.

Once again, I return all glory to God almighty and my Destiny Helper, the Original King of Boys, and the Supreme Leader of the Renewed Hope believers, champions and Ambassadors, the Villa Head Boy, the Son of the President, Hon. Seyi Tinubu at whose instance this significant role I secured. I will forever be grateful for this important milestone political advancement.

To my Principal, the Honorable Minister of State for Youth Development Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom, a man with large heart, his uncommon role will never be forgotten, I sincerely appreciate.

To our mother in Jerusalem, Sister Seun Oluwafemi White, I sincerely appreciate your unconditional support for me.

To my father, His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, the former Governor of Ekiti State and The Incumbent Governor His Excellency Biodun Oyebanji, Members of National Assembly, Senate and House of Representatives Members from Ekiti State, I remain indebted to you all for your various contributions to this status.

My immediate NANS family, friends and associates in struggle for improved welfarism and education system.

However, it is important I make this clear, the office is not mine but ours, hence it’s essential we see it as collective responsibility.
