Salam Joshua Jesugbogo, widely recognized as the King of Pranks, is taking a resolute stand against the spread of online misinformation in the wake of his close friend and mentor Adeola Abdulsamad’s tragic passing. Abdulsamad, affectionately known as Sanku, was a pivotal figure in Jesugbogo’s life and career.

In a series of heartfelt posts across his social media platforms, Jesugbogo paid tribute to Sanku, expressing deep gratitude for his unwavering support and guidance. He credited Sanku with discovering his creative talent and supporting him through challenging times. Jesugbogo wrote, “If I can’t repay his kindness and help which he rendered to me when he was alive, I will sacrifice a lot for him when he is no more. I prefer going through all this pain and stress than to sleep, watching you fake reporters blackmailing my beloved brother.”

Jesugbogo used his platform to address and correct misinformation surrounding the circumstances of the car accident that claimed Sanku’s life. He clarified, “Adeola Abdulsamad, popularly known as Sanku, did not drive his car himself, and none of his brothers drove the car that particular day the accident occurred.”

He further explained that Sanku’s elder brother, who was a passenger in the vehicle, would eventually provide a full account to “clear the atmosphere from wrong information.”

Jesugbogo’s statements serve as a direct appeal to the public to avoid hasty judgments and to await the official report from the family.

In a powerful message to his followers, Jesugbogo explained his decision not to go live or publicly discuss the tragedy in detail, stating that he did not want the public to witness his grief. Instead, he pledged to protect Sanku’s reputation and “good legacy” by sharing daily updates on his social media stories. He encouraged his audience to join him in spreading accurate information and respecting Sanku’s memory.

He concluded his posts with a heartfelt plea, urging people not to use Sanku’s passing as an opportunity to mock or judge him, but rather to honor his legacy with dignity and truth.
