Insurance Magnate, Chief Dr. Tony Aletor Bags National Honours Award of CON

The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has approved the conferment of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) National Honours Award on Chief Dr. Anthony Aletor, mni, JP, Chairman, Capital Express Holdings Ltd.

In a press release made available by his media office, the insurance guru was listed among the seventy five (75) distinguished personalities to be conferred with the Commander of the Order of the Niger Award in the Special National Honours Award 2023 to be presided over the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Chief Dr. Tony Aletor, mni, JP, a consummate Insurance, Finance and investment professional is the Chairman, Capital Express Holdings Ltd. He holds the honorary title of Aare Bashorun Parakoyi of Ibadanland, Aradakan of Owo Kingdom, an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership & Community Development from the Ecole Superieur d’Administration et d’Economie (ESAE-University), Cotonou, Benin Republic and was made a Justice of Peace by the Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Godwin Obaseki.

The business mogul is the Ci-Garin Hausa, the conqueror and the strategist of the Hausa land, which was bestowed on him for his unparalleled contributions and philanthropic gestures to the less privileged which endeared him to the whole of Hausa land and a Grand Distinguished Lagelite, a highest title given to him the leadership of his alma-mater, Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan.
