Ibarapa Set for 7th Sport Fiesta: Two Weeks of High-Energy Games and Cultural Celebration

Ibarapa is set for another historic celebration of sportsmanship and cultural strength as the 7th Edition of the Ibarapa Sport Fiesta prepares to take centre stage. Scheduled to hold from December 15 to 28, 2025, the annual sporting spectacle will take place at Ayelogun Grammar School, Idere, bringing together athletes, enthusiasts and community members from across the region.

This year’s fiesta promises a charged atmosphere driven by high-energy contests, cultural vibrance and a renewed spirit of unity. Participants will compete in headline events such as Inter-Community Soccer, Draughts (Male & Female) and Ayo Olopon (Male & Female), showcasing traditional and modern sports that reflect the heritage and diversity of Ibarapa.

Beyond the competitions, organisers describe the fiesta as a rallying point for strengthening relationships and deepening communal identity.
