Emmanuel Alayande Varsity Registry to Hold Maiden Annual Public Lecture on Tuesday

The Registry Department of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo will host its maiden annual public lecture on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, focusing on sustainable university administration and the future of e-governance and digital records. The event, featuring Dr J. E. T. Babalola as guest lecturer, will bring together key stakeholders in higher education and will be declared open by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan.

The Registry Department of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo will on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, host its maiden annual public lecture as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening tertiary education and enhancing staff capacity development.

 

In a statement signed by the Senior Deputy Registrar (Senate, Academic Records and Curriculum) and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Mr. Rasheed O. Olaosebikan, the lecture is themed “Sustainable University Administration: E-Governance and Digital Records, Rethinking Registry Services in the 21st Century.” The keynote lecture will be delivered by the immediate past Registrar of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Dr. J. E. T. Babalola.

The event is scheduled to take place at the University’s 500-Seater Hall, located beside the Sports Complex, at exactly 11:00 a.m.

 

According to Olaosebikan, the lecture is expected to attract distinguished guests, education administrators, and participants from within and outside Oyo State. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan, will formally declare the event open.

 

He further noted that the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. Olubunmi Siju’ Asunmo, will lead senior officers of the Registry to receive invited dignitaries and other eminent personalities.

The statement urged all Senior Registry Staff to attend without fail and ensure they are seated by 11:00 a.m.
