Politician Calls for Unity, Peace, and Reflection on Prophet’s Teachings
IBADAN, NIGERIA — In a heartfelt message marking the celebration of Eid Maulid-an-Nabiyy, Amoye Adeyemi Sodiq Opeyemi (Ph.D) has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Ibadan South West and Ibadan North West. The occasion, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), was described as a time for reflection on the Prophet’s enduring legacy of mercy, peace, justice, and unity.
Amoye emphasized that the noble life of Prophet Muhammad continues to serve as a beacon for humanity, inspiring compassion, tolerance, and the building of societies rooted in love and mutual respect. He called on residents to draw strength from the Prophet’s example and to embody these timeless values in their daily lives.
“Let us unite across all lines of difference, for unity remains the bedrock of peace and the foundation of true development. Only in an atmosphere of harmony can we achieve the progress we seek for our communities and our nation,” Amoye stated.

Amoye concluded his message by wishing that this Maulid brings blessings to families, prosperity to the land, and enduring peace to the nation.
