We Are Yet to Decide Our Next Line of Action, OFAB Stakeholders, Ward Cords Reacts to Principal’s Decision

The ward coordinators and stakeholders of OFAB foundation on Sunday, reacted to the decision of their principal who has recently stepped aside his senatorial ambition and declared support for Dr. Olusola Ayandele Eruobodo.

The public relations officer of Ibarapa East on Sunday, Comrade Oke Oludele, made this known while speaking with our correspondent in Eruwa at the end of Ibarapa East stakeholders and ward coordinators meeting of the movement.

Recall that Olawuyi Folarin had recently stepped down his senatorial ambition on Saturday to support Eruobodo who is also contesting for the same position.

OFAB who took to his social media handle on Saturday said, “I’m stepping aside based on our great party, APC’s interests and Ibarapa community developmental agenda. Also, I’m throwing my weight behind Dr Olusola Ayandele “Eruobo” because he’s the best man for the job, come 2023 and he will definitely make Oyo South proud, if the mandate is given. Yes, without trying to sound immodest, this my magnanimous but humble step is premised on spirit of collectivism and we must all do whatever we can, within the purview of legality, to ensure that Oyo APC remain the viable party to record landslide victory, come 2023, not only in Oyo South but also across the pacesetter state.

“As a pro-humanity thinker, all my pro-people programs, and charity activities of our Foundation will continue unhindered and I remain a committed member of Oyo APC. So, help me God”.

The stakeholders in their reaction forwarded a copy of their resolution to SpyGist Media, the rejoinder which reads in part;

A Rejoinder to OFAB: “Steps Aside from Oyo South Contest, Throws Weight Behind ‘Eruobodo'”

Dear Ofab,

We read your article with the above caption and was compelled to write a rejoinder because of the inaccuracies it conveyed.  The article only succeeded in exposing your political inability of what has been happening in Oyo South Senatorial district, and Ibarapa in particular, not surprising to us because you have no clue of our stand politically or is it due to some deliberate intellectual and political mischief?

We are really disappointed with that article and other ones you have previously wrote on the social media. It is obvious that your article, sole and personal decision wanted to attack our political personality but it ended up with bunch of contradictions and lack of scholarship.

In view of this, the entire Ofab members are yet to decide on our next line of action and both you and All Progressives Congress Ibarapa zone would be communicated after due consultation and comprehensive analysis on Oyo South senatorial ambition.

Thank you.

Co- signed

Ofab stakeholders and ward coordinators.
