We Are Celebrating Our Freedom From Oppressors, Okanlawon Congratulates People On Independence
The Accord Party Candidate in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency for House of Representatives and founder of Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation (OOF), Engr (Dr.) David Olusegun Okanlawon, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 62nd Independence anniversary celebration.
In a statement made available to SpyGist Media Okanlawon said while we are celebrating our Independence, we should remember that we are celebrating our freedom from oppressors.
He said “While we are celebrating our Independence, we should remember that we are celebrating our freedom from oppressors. Our freedom is the most precious gift life gave us and no one has the right to take it away from us.”
“Although we’ve not had an encouraging right to freedom and good peaceful living, we should unite to channel the right course for ourselves as we all have a say through our voting rights.
“We can define a clear path against those who sat on our freedom. We need to do everything to protect our society from violence and cruelty. We deserve a better living and that is a choice we have on our thumbs. Let us choose wisely and vote wisely to redefine our paths against our oppressors.”
