Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Nasarawa State have arrested a 45 year old Vigilante, Yusuf Dallah In Lafia over alleged rape Of a 13 Year Old Girl in their custody.
Parading the suspect, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Jerry Victor told journalists that the minor who was suspected to have stolen some wrappers, was apprehended and taken to Vigilante office, Jos road in Lafia.
Jerry said after the victim was brought to the vigilante office over the alleged offence, the suspect allegedly took advantage of the minor’s presence in their custody and defiled her.
When interviewed, the suspect, Yusuf Dallah denied committing the crime and said investigations will set him free while the victim, insisted that she was raped by the suspect.
