UCH Final Year Students Partner Crest Care Medical Services, Visits Schools, Senior Citizens Home With Gifts
Some final year students of Community Health department, University College Hospital, in Ibadan (UCH) has visited selected schools, orphanage homes, special needs schools with gift Items in celebration of their finalist week.
A group of students in the University College Hospital in partnership with Crest Care Medical Services on Monday 27 June embarked on a medical outreach to some selected secondary schools, schools of people with special needs, orphanage homes in Ibadan to mark their finalist week.
During this outreach, volunteers visited IMG Primary School Total Garden, CAC Primary School Total Garden, Orita Aperin ~Iyere Commercial Grammar School, Ibadan School for the Deaf, Chesire Special Home Ibadan, Divine Senior Citizens Palace Ibadan with gift items such as first aid box, stationeries, toiletries, consumables.
According to Adebowale Boboye, Crest Care Medical Services Founder, ‘the project has been a success and we appreciate all the team members for their commitment. In my observation, some of the school buildings are already dilapidated and need massive renovations, we want government and institutions to assist so students cna enjoy conducive learning environment’.
‘Also, we should show love to people living with disabilities and ensure our senior citizens are well taken care of, and we should have the spirit of giving to the needy’, he added.
Some of the volunteers that assisted in the project includes Ojajuni Emmanuel, Olayiwola Abayomi, Tanimowo Samuel, Makinde Odunayo, Akinduro Funke, Obaro Joy, Olayiwola Bisola, Ayandele Sekinat, Omotosho Ayoola, Seriki Damilola, Adigun Yinka.
