Tpl (Dr) Adesokan Samuel Adelodun has extended condolences to the entire people of Oyo State and particularly Ogbomoso on the passing away of the former Governor Otunba Christopher Alao Akala.
Adesokan described the late Governor as a change maker that has make difference in the government and politics of his constituency, state and nation at large.
In a statement issued by the Ibarapa East House of Assembly hopeful, Tpl (Dr) Samuel Adesokan on Wednesday said, “I am extremely sorry to hear about the terrible loss. Former Governor Akala was a true hero of our state and nation. He has departed but his legacy will live among us. I extend my heartfelt sympathies on the demise to the people of Ogbomoso and Oyo state at large”.
“During his lifetime, Akala left indelible marks towards the governance and development of our state. He is one of the best gift God gave to Oyo state. He touched all the geopolitical zones in his developement agenda and that is the more reason why we can never forget him.
“May Almighty God reward his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings and have mercy upon him”.
