No fewer than four police officers were killed in an attack, at the Agwa Divisional Police headquarters in Imo state by unknown gunmen who are wreaking havoc in the Southeastern part of the country.

SpyGist learned that the incident occurred on Friday night when the assailants invaded the area shooting sporadically before gaining access to the station.

Two male officers were shot dead while two female police officers were burnt to death and a vehicle belonging to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) was burnt.

According to the sources who spoke with The Punch, the gunmen came in a tipper vehicle and two sienna cars and invaded the police division.
