Eruwa-born Unionist, Oke Oludele Emerges Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic SUG President

Oke Oludele Adesola, a student at the Department of Civil Engineering, Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Eruwa, has been elected as President of the Students’ Union Government (AOPESUG).

He is the first Eruwa son to emerge as President of the institution and will be succeeding the incumbent President, Comrade Azeez Ridwan popularly known as Super.

Our correspondent reports that Oke Oludele Adesola was declared winner by the Chairman of the Student Union Electoral Committee, Afoafo Isaiah, after a free and fair election held on Monday.

The Elect President, Oke Oludele Adesola who won with a wide margin polled 1,229 votes to defeat his rival, Isiaka Mustapha Oluwashina who scored 438 votes.

Oke Oludele Adesola is a student from the department of Civil Engineering while his contender, Isiaka Mustapha from the Computer Science department.

Some other elect executives of the Students’ Union Government includes; Jacob Oluwaseun Emmanuel (Vice President), Rafiu Aishat Odunola (General Secretary), Olorunmola Damilare Samson (Financial Secretary), Adelowo Boluwatife (Treasurer) and host of others.
