Skimeh, Kamil, Others Absent As Oyedemi, Gbadegesin Attend Political Debate
The federal house of representatives candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi popularly known as Skimeh and his counterpart in Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Kamil Akinlabi Mudashiru were both absent at the maiden edition of the political debate organized by the Oyo Media Practitioners.
At the maiden edition of the political debate organized by the Oyo Media Practitioners for all political candidates within Oyo Central Senatorial District which took place at the Federal School of Survey, Oyo on Thursday, 24 November 2022.
The political debate, first of its kind which was organized by the Media experts in Oyo town was to avail contestants from different political parties to air their manifestoes to the electorates.
In attendance at the debate held at Federal School of Survey, Oyo were Barr. Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi, flagbearer of Accord Party and Hon. Gbadegesin Taofeek Adeleke of African Action Congress (AAC) out of the six candidates jostling for the federal constituency ticket that were invited for the debate.
Efforts to get clarification on why those candidates were absent proved futile, as none of them could not be reached by our correspondent as of the time of filing this report.

There are six major candidates from the major political parties contesting for the federal house of representatives seat, out of which we have the incumbent occupant, Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi Skimeh (APC), Hon Kamil Akinlabi Mudashiru (PDP), Barr. Wakil Oyeleru Oyedemi (Accord Party), Hon. Gbadegesin Taofeek Adeleke (AAC), Oguniyi Akinyemi Olaoluwa (SDP), and Surv. Rasheed Oyekalu Oyegbami (NNPP).
