Rehabilitation of the Road from the Lanlate Olg Garage to Itabo has commenced.
The project is facilitated by the Federal Lawmaker representing Ido/Ibarapa East in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Federal Emergency Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA, Eng. Aderemi Abass Oseni.
Note that Eng. Oseni defeated the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Oluyemi Adewale Taiwo in all the twenty wards of Ido and Ibarapa East in February 2023.
Hon. Oluyemi Taiwo is from ward 10, Itabo, Lanlate in Ibarapa East Local Government and he has spent eight years as member representing Ido/Ibarapa East in the House of Representatives.
In appreciation to the people of Ibarapa East who made it possible for him to defeat the candidate of the PDP in all the ten wards of Ibarapa East, Eng. Oseni has obtained approval for the rehabilitation of major roads across Ibarapa East, cutting across all the ten wards.
He has equally obtained approval for the establishment of a Federal Specialist Hospital in Ibarapa East.
The rehabilitation of Roads in Ibarapa East is coming at the appropriate time.
Apart from the poor state of the Ido/Eruwa Road which the state Government has abandoned for six years now, access Roads within the Eruwa and Lanlate Communities are in a terrible condition.
This is as a result of the neglect by both the state and the Local Governments.
Sadly, all the Roads awarded to the sibling of the Oyo state Speaker in both Communities have been abandoned.
Eng. Oseni’s intervention is indeed coming at the right time.
The Road from Gbolagunte junction in Eruwa to Isaba junction is another strategic access Road which Eng. Oseni has gotten approval for and there are still about four others in both Eruwa and Lanlate.
It does look like Eng. Oseni meant it when he promised to fill the vacuum as the Governor for the good people of Ibarapa East and Ido Federal Constituency.
