Suspected drug barons have been arrested by operatives of crack surveillance at Okwagbe community in Isoko North Local Government area of Delta state.
The suspects, two females and a male were arrested during a raid operation.
The police crack surveillance team recovered large quantities of various illicit drugs which included loud, cocaine, razlers, Indian hemp and bottles of codeine from the suspects.
In another operation, policemen attached to the command’s safe Delta tactical squad, while on stop and search duty at the bridge between Delta and Anambra States, intercepted a Toyota Hiace bus with over a thousand rounds of live cartridges.
The driver a male, was arrested and upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that the live cartridges belonged to one Monday Adibia a native of Ogume in Ndokwa west local council area.
According to a statement issued by the command, the commissioner of police, Ari Mohammed, mentioned that all suspects arrested will be prosecuted.
