Oyo University Upgrade: Former College Student Writes Open Letter To Governor Makinde
A former student of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, Comrade Ridwan Ademola Adegoke has written an open letter to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde on the upgrade of the college to a university.
The letter which reads as follow;

Your Excellency,
As an alumni of Emmanuel Alayande College Of Education, Oyo, formally Oyo State College Of Education, Oyo, and an undergraduate student of the affiliated University therein of the college, it thrills me with great sense of joy when I stumbled on the news of your pronouncement of upgrading our college of education to university of education.
On the 23rd of November 2022, the Oyo State House of Assembly passed a bill of the upgrading. A bill that with immediate effect increase the love of the 9th assembly in the heart of the masses and particularly this present administration. A bill that we are optimistic that it will positively boost the ways of life in Oyo town, and will give the people more opportunities and reposition very many people’s life.
Today, 5th of December, you assent the bill and make it a law. You are worthy to appreciate sir.
Your Excellency, as good as this news is, I will love to humbly demand that your personal monitoring of this epochal development is very essential, the world will love to see Emmanuel Alayande University Of Education admitting student’s anytime soon.
Sir, in an effort to make people more joyous, the school fees should be more affordable and the indigenes should be more considered by giving them a certain discount. Nobody is pessimistic that there will be more job opportunities, Sir, the college graduate with good record, stakeholders, youth within Oyo should be given privilege to make the first list of people that will be given the job opportunity.
