Oyo Govt’ Lays foundation for Library Board CBT/ICT Centre in Dugbe

Honourable Oluyemi Taiwo, Chairman Oyo State Library Board has laid the foundation for the Computer-Based Test Centre (CBT) in Dugbe. The state government took the responsibility to provide the site for the project to enable our people have easy access to CBT/ICT Centre within the state also to enhance education and accessibility.

The establishment of this CBT/ICT Centre will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the community, particularly students and individuals seeking to take professional exams. With this development, Oyo State is moving closer to achieving its goal of making education and technology more accessible to its citizens.

With the provision of CBT/ICT centre, this will enable easy access to CBT/ICT facilities for residents, reducing the need to travel to other states or cities; better opportunities for students and individuals to take professional exams and advance their careers; potential to attract educational institutions and organizations, boosting the local economy.

Engineer Biodun Adeola, representing Binatech Engineering Services Limited, has assured the state government that they will deliver exceptional work before December. In this light, I want to commend Honourable Yemi Taiwo for his commitment to widen access to modern education by the creation of CBT/ICT centre in the library. he said”

At the foundation-laying ceremony for the Computer-Based Test Centre/ICT in Dugbe, the State Librarian, Samuel Awotona, also reiterated the Library Board’s commitment to modernizing its services.”We are determined to fully transition from traditional forms of reading to modern concepts,” Awotona stated. This bold vision aligns with the Board’s mission to provide accessible, innovative, and inclusive library services to the people of Oyo State.

As the CBT/ICT Centre takes shape, the people of Oyo State eagerly anticipate its completion and the benefits it will bring.
