Silence means consent. It is a common statement…
Since the activities of the Infrastructure partner cum Estate Manager, Mr. Adeyinka Owodunni, employed by the Government of Oyo state has been exposed, the Government of Oyo state and even the gentleman has kept mum on the serious allegations raised.
Perhaps, they are cooking some lies and excuses.
I can however tell them that whatever lies or cover up that is being prepared, they shall be met with more damning facts and evidence.
The rate at which a plot of Land is going within the GRA, a whooping #128 million as we speak, is on the high side and whoever God has blessed to be able to afford such should be entitled to live peacefully, removed from the constant harassment by some misguided Caretaker masquerading as an Estate Manager.
This brings me to the issue of our society.
This is a matter that should interest the Media on a large scale.
Unfortunately, most of the practitioners have submitted to the whims and caprices of those in Government.
For some of us who have chosen to expose the atrocities around Government, we have been called names.
I recollect one of them telling me that the allegations against Adeyinka Owodunni were half-truths and lies a couple of days ago.
My direct response to the Busy Body was to ask him if the spokespersons of the Government and Adeyinka had taken their mouths to the ” Alagbafo” ( washerman).
We are not deterred and neither will we be distracted by irritants who are not officially entrusted with the responsibilities to speak for the Government but who wishes to impress for reasons known to them.
The last time I checked, the Governor of Oyo state employed a versatile Journalist, a PHD holder for that matter, as the official spokesperson for the Government.
It should be his job to respond to the issues raised against the Government of Oyo state or anyone acting on Its behalf like Adeyinka Owodunni.
If he chose to be silent as he has always been or chose to respond through some back streets, that’s his choice.

However, the continued silence of Government on this matter would be taken as consent and that would lead to a bigger question.
Is the standards displayed by Adeyinka Owodunni adopted for every Public Private Partnership arrangements between Oyo state Government and Its private partners across board?
This Government has engaged a lot of Private Partners and Consultants to partner in different areas.
We have heard of the issues between Consultants engaged by Government and the Governing Councils of the State’s owned Institutions.
From the activities of Mr. Adeyinka Owodunni, it is important and imperative to examine the qualifications, antecedents and relationship between the Public Partners and Government officials.
I said in the other piece that the job given to Mr. Adeyinka is equal to a job given to the boys.
My observation is grounded on the fact that the gentleman lacks the qualifications, experience and expertise to handle such a sensitive job.
Government has not refuted this claims by showing us facts that the gentleman deserved the job.
The gentleman in question has remained silent.
No matter what happens, we will ensure that this matter gets the attention it deserves.
