
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has instructed the management of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo not to pay salaries if workers didn’t resume to work.
The instruction came after the Governor released the 72% subvention to the management of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education (EACOED), Oyo.
Recall that all state owned institutions in Oyo state under the Joint Action Committee (JAC) has been on strike for some months.
Governor Makinde has however released subventions, thereafter threatened that managements should not pay the salary if the workers are still on strike.
Other institutions affected by the no work no pay order includes Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.
