The Oyo state Chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has call for a unification meeting to harmonize the loyalists of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi from Ajimobi Legacy Forum and aggrieved Unity Forum Groups ahead of 2023 elections.
The meeting which held on Wednesday at the Banquet Hall, Premier Hotel, Ibadan was said to have been facilitated by the former first ladies of the late former Governors from the progressive party, Alhaja Sarat Lam-Adesina and Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi.
Party stalwarts that graced the meeting includes, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, Senator Ayo Adeseun, Barr. Adebayo Shittu, Former Deputy Governor Moses Alake, Professor Adeolu Akande, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Silas Lasunsi, Abass Alesinloye, Wasiu Ajimobi, Popoola Yekeen, Saheed Alaran, Mrs Erelu, Joseph Adeleke, Gani Alade, Seyi Adisa, Gbadamosi Busari and hosts others.
The groups have decided to work together as one for the progress of the party and to sustain the legacies of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Bola Ige, Alhaji Lam Adesina and Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
