Oyo APC Congress: Adewusi, Fatai Ibikunle, Adepoju, Okemakinde tasks Elected Local Executives in Ibarapa East
Stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress in Ibarapa East on Saturday task the newly elected executives of the local government at the just concluded local Congress.
Alhaji Lateef Akinsanya Ajiboye emerges the All Progressive Congress Party Chairman and Philip Aderoju as the Youth leader in Ibarapa East local government as affirmed by the delegates at the Congress.
Adewusi charges the newly elected executives and members to continue working in the interest of the party towards victory ahead 2023.
Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle express his anxiety over the peaceful conduct of the Congress and had the belief that the new set of executive will discharge their duties as enshrined in the party constitution.
Honourable Bimbo Adepoju also task the party members and the new executives to work in line with anything that can bring success in the 2023 election.
One of the party stalwart Akeem Leruwa said, “without exaggeration, at the Eleruwa Stadium which is the stipulated venue of the APC LG Congress, it was full of joy as delegates across the ten wards of Ibarapa East peacefully elected LG executives in line with party constitution”.
The newly elected Chairman expressed his happiness and the trust bestowed on him to be elected as the party Chairman. He promised to work with other executives to achieve greatly for the success of the party.
The congress had in attendance the Congress local organizing Committee, INEC officials, party leaders such as Dr Adewusi Adebayo, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Hon Bimbo Adepoju, Pa Adeegbe, Hon Adelakun Emma, Hon Ramota Okemakinde and host of others, congress delegates.
