
The member representing Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman, Federal Emergency Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA, Eng Aderemi Oseni has mourned the passing away unto glory of Chief Lasisi Ayanyinka Ayankojo of Isale Oyo Community, Atiba Local Government of Oyo state.
In a condolence message personally signed by him, he described the late Chief Ayankojo as a colossus, whose life was filled with positive adventures that impacted on his immediate environment and the state at large.
He highlighted the positive impacts and contributions of the late Oyo born Elder statesman when he served as Chairman, Oyo state Local Government Service Commission and later as Chairman, Oyo state Pensions Board under the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Eng. Oseni notes the efforts by late Ayankojo as Chairman of the State Pensioners Board, which resulted in the discovery and exposure of some fraudulent staffs.
” He was upright, determined and incorruptible”, Eng. Oseni said.
The late Chief Ayankojo died at exactly 9:00am on Thursday, 21st of November, 2024 according to family sources.
Eng. Oseni asks for God’s divine fortitude for the family, the good people of Atiba Local Government, Oyo Town, Oyo state and the Progressives family to bear the great loss.
