

Ibarapa East Local Government Chairman, Honourable Olugbenga Obalowo, has donated materials to aid the activities of security operatives in combating criminality in the local government area.
Gbenga Obalowo, while making the donation, said there is no hiding place for criminals in the communities, stressing that the security operatives will put in more efforts to curb the level of insecurity in the local government area.

The event had in attendance representatives of all the security outfits in the area.
The local government Chairman who took to his social media handle, said, “In line with our bid to curb the surge of insecurity in Ibarapa East Local government and Oyo State at large”.
“Today we donated 5 Bajaj motorcycles, three hundred torch light, five hundred cutlass, four hundred rain boots and cash to local security operative in our local government”.

“This was done to intensify their operational tactics which will help us to achieve the desired goals of ensuring the safety of lives and properties and bring peace and order in our local council area”.
The beneficiaries were Vigilante group of Nigeria, Hunter Group of Nigeria, Initiative for Unity Peace and Community Development, Amotekun Corps, Odua people’s Congress.


“I want to use this medium to appeal to security operatives to used the motorcycles judiciously to safe lives and properties of our people”, the Chairman added.
