The spokeperson also revealed that the winner of Miss Ibarapa 2020, Miss Adeyemo Labake school fees was paid base on the receipt the organizer of the award tendered to the management of Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation.

Qudus said, “I could recall that the said Queen was in her HND2 which was supposed to be her final year at The Oke Ogun Polytechnic. Am not sure any level exist at the level of higher national diploma in polytechnic than that unless someone want to go for Postgraduate thereafter of which she’s yet to apply for.

“According to initiator of the program that spoke with the founder of OOF, said that the school fees of 26,404 for the last session for Labake has already been paid as at that time. The founder of OOF therefore made the refund in fulfilment of the promise made.

“I will still make it clear that Engineer (Dr) David Olusegun Okanlawon will never make any promise that he won’t be able to fulfill.

“The article is a target on the personality of Olusegun Okanlawon and to stir up unnecessary confusion.  We can’t blame the media outfit but the awardee in person of the said ‘Miss Ibarapa’ for not clearing the air on sensitive matters rather leaving it ambiguous.

“I will advice that we should be more clear on sensitive matters including the media outfits, we understand you need catchy headlines, but try to be more constructive in other not to mar the credibility of personalities.

“The coordinator of the program has copies of the receipts of the transaction and all chats where he particularly mentioned the tuition fee is still with us.

“Do try to verify news as it may further help your journalism.

“Henceforth, the foundation will stop being discreet about payments we make to beneficiaries to stop unnecessary issues in the future. We are about to make payments for this year beneficiaries, we will not hesitate to publish all evidences of payment.

“We are aware of rumors flying around to discredit the founder of Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation, that we do not pay and only make lip announcement. The foundation insist on transparency and honesty, we do not have such records like flimsy lies and excuses, our founder only does what he says and we do not make empty promises. As we speak, the foundation account has been credited to make the payments  for all winners”.
