Okanlawon, Adesokan bag Honorary Doctorate Degree from London Business School

The founder of Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation (OOF), Engr David Olusegun Okanlawon and Tpl Adesokan Samuel Adelodun have been conferred with honorary doctorate degrees by the Maverick Business Academy, London which was held at Sheraton Hotel Lagos on Saturday.

This award is reserved for accomplished CEOs from all level and status in different professions. The event was done to honor leaders who have excelled and distinguished themselves in their chosen fields to be acknowledged, recognized and celebrated worldwide.

Okanlawon in his nomination speech said, “I am overwhelmed with gratitude to have been recognized and nominated to receive this Honorary Doctorate Degree of Business Administration DBA (Honoris Causa) by Maverick Business Academy London, UK.

“I am honored that my track record in business and human capital investment is recognized in this way. It’s been a long journey with very many challenges surmounted. It means so much to me that the work I am passionate about resonates with others, most especially to the management of Maverick Business Academy London, who decided to confer on me this prestigious honor after conducting proper scrutiny and background search.

“I have excelled in businesses, project management, and professional studies due to the unrelenting quest for success, which has been my working mantra since childhood. This mantra has helped me to skip hurdles, conquer impossibilities, and earned me deserved victories including this noble honor”, he added.

Olusegun Okanlawon is into businesses ranging from travel and tours, Auto Business, logistics and constructions, and construction. He is the CEO of 04 Multipurpose Unique Concept Limited, and Luli Construction Company that will soon commence operation.

It was gathered that the honorary award conferred on Adesokan Samuel is base on some tracked records in his professionalism, academic antecedent, business record, leadership roles in the society and political passion in the  immediate Community.

Adesokan Samuel who is a registered Town Planner also holds the following Mnitp,Rtp,Mmp, Mnim,DBA.

In his own acceptance speech titled “I REFUSED TO GIVE UP”, he narrated the challenges he had encountered in life right from the time he wrote the first secondary school certificate examination.

The town planner said, “I wrote four different examinations before I could get a result to further my education, the same thing happened during my admission processes but yet I didn’t give up.

“Everything that have passed through, I refused to give up and that’s what keep me moving because I have the determination to be great in life”, he added.

Tpl Samuel Adesokan Adelodun is the CEO of Rock-Adesh Properties Ltd. He is into Town/urban& Regional planning, Land acquisition, Land sale, Land lease, Real estate and Housing service, Surveying, Building plans designs and approval, Land advisory services, Building construction, Blocks and Housing materials suppliers.
