Newcastle FC Celebrates Her First Year Anniversary
The Newcastle Football Club Oyo on Thursday celebrated her first year anniversary at the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education Sports Complex in Oyo.
According to the Newcastle FC Head Coach, Tella Damola popularly known as Balotelli said, “permit me to use this medium to appreciate, my mentors and supportive fathers who supported this journey in all ramifications, Coach Salenko and Coach Ndubisi, infact I am indebted to you two sirs. I pray the good Lord uplift you and make your homes happy.”
“To my assistant, Coach Bolade with whom I am well pleased, I say a big thank you, for you have shouldered the responsibility of this great team regardless of all circumstances, infact in this team you should be celebrated( we love you).
Also, to one of our first fans Mr Micheal and also official referee, thanks for all you did.”
“Since the journey started, Newcastle have played up to 30 matches. We played three competitions, one in Oyo, one in Ibadan and the last one was at ijebu odé, otunba Dipo Dino International stadium, where we became victorious. It was a very tough experience though, at a point we thought of giving up but why give up when we have started it already.”
“To our ever ready financially supportive friends and fans, infact I don’t know what to you guys, ( Bayo, Pappy D, Drey, etc) I will just say that, with whatsoever you donate to this club, you will recover the multiple of it.”
Balotelli said further, “to my fellow and ever ready knight with predator instinct, right from the captain and his assistant (Rolland & Fuwad), it is with much joy that I congratulate you all on this achievement, thanks for not giving up on us and on this project. And also our beautiful and ever ready girls please do not be weary your time is coming. Notwithstanding, fellow Newcastle Knight, please do not be overwhelmed with this little achievements we are still going places very soon the world will celebrate you.”
“For the next one year, may the good Lord spare our lives. These are our proposed plans, we do not mind for the supports of all and sundry, 15 balls to the additional ones, 2 set of Jerseys, one training jessy and the other for travelling matches, additional corns and training materials, support for Cotonou competition in (Benin Republic) with estimated fee of one hundred and fifty thousand naira, friendly matches with league teams, If possible under 17 Nigerian national team, female competition in ijebu odé, he added.”
