Massive Withdrawal Of Aspirants In APC, Members Dump party

There is a massive withdrawal of aspirants from the Nasarawa All Progressive Congress APC as members dumps party during party primaries in the state.

Nasarawa state who is the home state of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu has his members dumps party as they complain of irregularities.

Some of the members who withdrew from the race includes the incumbent Senator representing Akwanga, Wamba, Nasarawa Eggon Senatorial district, Gaza Gbefwi who is serving second term as the member House of Representatives for Keffi, karu, Kokona constituency and more than 20 others

Gaza announced his withdrawal in a letter made available to journalists in state, alleging irregularities in the selection of party’s delegates for the exercise.

The letter addressed to the Electoral Committee’s Chairman dated May 28, 2022 alleged that the process was undemocratic and non-transparent, hence his decision to withdraw.

Gaza Gbefwi, currently serving second term defected to the governing party in 2021 to seek another mandate in next year’s general elections.
