

Federation of Eruwa Students Union (FESU) under the leadership of Comrade Adeleke Adesoji Olamiposi organized a political debate ahead of the forthcoming local government election.
The chairmanship candidate under the flag of Labour Party in Ibarapa East Local Government, Adeolu Masolanu unveil his 7 points agenda.
Speaking at the political debate organized by Federation of Eruwa Students Union (FESU) on Sunday at the Eruwa Town hall, he reiterated his commitment to the people of Ibarapa East.


The program which was expected to host candidates from two political parties, Obalowo Olugbenga of the People’s Democratic Party and Adeolu Masolanu of Labour Party. It’s unfortunate that the candidate of PDP boycotted the debate.
Masolanu unveils his seven point agenda which includes security, education, human capital development and youth empowerment, agriculture, basic amenities, trade and commerce, social services.


He promised to embark on adequate security of lives and properties, quality and improved level of education, provision of bursary and scholarship, massive construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads, construction and maintenance of quality public boreholes for quality water supply, more recreation centers, construction and maintenance of schools, an Ultra Modern market and maintenance of existing ones, and electricity for riverine communities.
In the area of security, the chairmanship candidate promised to improve the security apparatus by upgrading the local vigilantes in collaboration with Nigeria Police Force, provision of materials and finance for them.
Some important faces present at the event includes Surveyor Bayo Oladeni OTF, Alhaji Taiwo Alaka, Comrade Ogunlana Gabriel, Comrade Ogunlana Rotimi, Aderoju Philip, Olawuyi Idowu, Tiamiyu Adebola, Mojisola Fatimoh, Adelakun Michael, Asiru Abideen among others.
