Ibarapa East PDP Takes Campaign Rally To Temidire


In a spirited display of community solidarity, residents from across neighboring villages gathered in Temidire to welcome the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) campaign train, heralding the arrival of Hon. Arogundade and his team.

The event, held at the residence of the Baale of Temidire during the early hours of Saturday, 13th April, 2024, unfolded as a celebration of unity and shared vision for the future.

The atmosphere was electric as the campaign train made its grand entrance, greeted by throngs of enthusiastic supporters who lined the streets with banners and cheers.

From the outset, it was clear that this was more than just a political gathering; it was a demonstration of the unwavering commitment of the people to their community and the ideals espoused by the PDP.

Amidst chants of solidarity and calls for change, the Baale of Temidire extended a warm welcome to the campaign team, offering prayers for success in their endeavors. His endorsement and blessings served as a powerful affirmation of the party’s mission and resonated deeply with all in attendance.

The highlight of the event came with the official presentation of the PDP’s Councillorship candidate, Segun Babatunde, to the outgoing councilor, Hon. Gbemisola. In a symbolic gesture of continuity and support, Hon. Gbemisola raised Babatunde’s hand, signifying the seamless transition of baton, come April 27.

But perhaps the most striking aspect of the rally was the overwhelming show of support from residents of neighboring villages. From Idi Ope to Sunbare, people poured into Temidire, filling the streets with song, dance, and a palpable sense of anticipation.
