Ibarapa East APC rejects Omodewu as Chairman, Adopt Abu Gbadamosi

All Progressive Congress stakeholders in Ibarapa East Local Government has rejected Hon Isaac Omolewu as the State Chairman of the party while they confirm Alhaji Adejare Abu Gbadamosi as the authentic Chairman.

Speaking with SpyGist Media on Wednesday after the stakeholders meeting of the party which was held at the capital of the local government, Hon Adelore Atanda said the authentic congress which produced Alhaji Gbadamosi stands and that alone is recognized.

The party leaders rejects the recently released and sworn-in APC local government party chairmen across the 33 local governments.

SpyGist Media reliably gathered that major stakeholders, like NIPOST boss, Lottery Board Chairman, former member house of representatives, former Local Government Chairmen, Party leaders, jointly reject the arrangement which made Omodewu the chairman of the party.

It was also confirmed at the meeting that Alhaji Lateef Ajiboye Akinsanya was the elected Party Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ibarapa East Local Government. 

Omodewu, a former commissioner in the state, had on Saturday, 3rd February 2022 issued a certificate of return in Abuja.

Some of the notable leaders present at the meeting includes Pa S.A. Adeegbe, Dr. Bayo Adewusi (Post Master General, NIPOST), Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle (Chairman, Lottery Regulatory Commission), Hon Bimbo Adepoju, Hon Siji Oyinlola, Hon Adelore Atanda, Chief Abodunrin, Chief J.O Adejumo, Alhaji Ayanyemi, Hon. Omidokun kazeem, PA. J.O Ojenike, Alhaji Dauda Azeez, Pa. Moses Adegoke, Dn.S.A Akinade, Hon. Adedokun Ganiyu, Pa. Adeosun Babatunde, Chief Jimoh Olarewaju, Dn. J.A. Adeola, Pa. J.A. Abodunrin, Mrs. Victoria Olayiwola.
