Ibarapa Development Matter Group, Drums Support For Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi

A political group Ibarapa Development Matter (IDM), under the aegis of the  All Progressive Congress (APC) has drum support for Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi who has once represented the senatorial district in the past to be the party’s flag bearer in the 2023 general election.

In a press statement jointly signed by the group from the three local government areas in Ibarapa zone, at her last meeting said, “We reminisced on the record laid by Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi when he was in office and after his tenure, he constructed boreholes for each local government, building of classrooms, construction of acquisition skills center at Eruwa, construction of ablution house for Central Mosque at Igboora, welfarism of the party, enterprenueral training for the youths with cash empowerment, just to mention a few of what he did when he was in office.

Furthermore, He toured Ibarapa zone for the proper reconciliation with the party stakeholders and the Elders Council G9 and he held an interactives discussion with the youths and gave out funds. We also Appreciate his effort in faciliting the Installation of Solar Mini Grid 50KW that can light up 500 Houses at Ilado and Alapa community of Lanlate in Ibarapa East even when he was out of office.

For this reason, we, the Ibarapa Development Matter Group implore our peoples, elders and leaders in Ibarapa zone to support him as he intend to contest as Senator for Oyo South Senatorial district, he has been tested, his representation gave us good governance and we believe that he will do more when he gets there.
