Ibarapa born Adesokan Samuel makes 2021 Prominent People’s Award List
The Executive Chairman of Prince S.A Adesokan Real Estate Planning consultants and Rock-Adesh Infrastructural & Properties Limited, Adesokan Samuel Adelodun has also made the list in the 2021 Prominent People’s Award.
Prominent Oyo Peoples award is categorically based on appreciating, celebrating and honoring the industrious indigenes of Oyo State in their various fields of endeavors.
Adesokan Samuel Adelodun was born to the family of Adesokan at Lagaye’s Compound Isale Togun Lanlate and originated from the royal family of Abiodun Alaafin of old Oyo Empire.
He was born by Chief Adegbaye Adesokan and Mrs Ibiyosi Adesokan.
Young Samuel Adesokan started his primary Education at Methodist Primary School Lanlate.(1987-1992).
He went to Lanlate High School for his JSS class (1992-1995).
He went to Oyo State School of Science Idere for his Senior Secondary Education.(1995-1998).
He later gained admission to study Urban & Regional Planning at Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke, Osun State for his National Diploma and graduated with Upper Credit Division.(2002-2004)
After his one year industrial training at Town Planning Division Ido local Government, Sam Adesokan proceeded to study Urban & Regional planning in the same institution for his Higher National Diploma HND and graduated as the overall best graduating student in the department with the grade of Distinction.(2005-2007)
Sam Adesokan served did his NYSC at Edo Development and Property Authority (EDPA) Benin City, as the development control officer in Oluku Estate. (2007-2008)
Sam Adesokan Proceeded to enroll for his masters program at the prestigious premier University of Ibadan (UI) and bagged his Masters Degree in Managerial Psychology MMP. (2010-2012).
Sam Adesokan for his love and passion for his course of studies, further his Education in Urban & Regional Planning for his Post Graduate Diploma in the same Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke and graduated with MSC grade( Upper credit). (2012-2014)
Sam Adesokan today is a Chattered Town Planner. RTP

Sam Adesokan was the treasurer Federation of Oyo State Students Union Fossu 2004.
Was the Secretary Faculty of Environmental Science Fessa 2006/2007.
Was Secreatary Student Union Government Caretaker Committee 2006/2007.

He worked as a Transaction officer with Firstbank of Nigeria Plc. Apata Ibadan for years.
He worked at Bayo Ojerinde & Partner Odo-Ona Ibadan
He is Rotarian member of Ibadan City Central Ibadan.

Sam Adesokan was one of the candidates that aspired for post of Oyo state House of Assembly from Ibarapa East state constituency under the umbrella of African Democratic Congress ADC But stepped down on a consensus arrangement by his party to Hon Mark Muyiwa who lost at the general election 2019 to The present Rt.Hon Debo Ogundoyin( Speaker OYHA) of PDP.
Sam Adesokan was the immediate past Vice chairman and the current Public Relations Secretary PRS of The Nigerian Institute of Town Planners NITP Oyo state chapter.
Sam Adesokan is happily married with four children.
