“Having done All, Stand in Faith” Bimbo Kolade tells APC Members

The Federal Commissioner representing Oyo State under the Revenue Mobilization Fiscal Commission, Honourable Bimbo Kolade has encouraged the people of Oyo state, most especially members of the All Progressive Congress to stand in faith ahead of the apex court judgement which holds on Friday.

Kolade express this on Wednesday morning while speaking with journalists ahead of the Supreme Court Judgement to be held on Friday between ALGON and the present state government.

In his words, he said, “It is with a great sense of responsibility and a feeling of exceptionally rare privilege that I send this message to you my fellow party men and women across the length and breadth of our dear state”.

“I thought it wise to do so with profound respect and utmost gratitude for your staying power, perseverance and confidence in our party despite all we’ve gone through, in spite of the avoidable internal wrangling that bedeviled our chances in the last general elections, you have established and maintained unwavering faith in our party which I must commend you so highly for. Our common desire is to build a party that seeks not to be divided, but rather to bring all members
together as one united family”.

He also said, “the impasse we faced should point us all to a new common ground and the lessons should serve to remind us that beyond our individual ambitions, we are one people with a shared history and a common destiny. I believe the strength of any political party in a fledgling democracy like ours is shown most clearly through the difficulties it can overcome”.

Kolade added, “fellow Compatriots, as we await the Supreme Court judgement on the Local Government case on Friday, I use this opportunity to commend the tenacity and doggedness that you have put to this struggle. Your commitment to the fight to uphold true democracy at the local government level is highly commendable”

“Also, I sincerely appreciate the fighting spirit and the good leadership provided by the ALGON executives led by my very able good friend, Abbas Aleshinloye, which was recognized recently with the CCII award”.

“Fellow Party men, I wish to encourage us this way, having done all we could do as human beings, let us stand in faith as we eagerly await the Supreme Court judgement on Friday, I have no doubt that we shall celebrate”.

The federal commissioner finally urge the people to refresh the belief they have in the party and continue to invest their fidelity for a better tomorrow. He pray that God bless APC, Oyo State and Nigeria.
