Ghastly Motor Accident Injured Scores In Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway (Pictures)
Not less than fifteen people sustained varying degrees of injuries in an auto crash in front of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, off the Oyo-Ogbomoso/Ilorin Expressway on Tuesday afternoon.
SpyGist Media correspondent in Oyo confirmed the incident on Tuesday.
Our correspondent gathered that the accident, which occurred at exactly 2.00 p.m. involved a 10 tyres trailer with a Camry car and was caused by excessive speeding.
An eye witness, Hassan Olanrewaju also confirmed the incident.
He said, “like seventeen casualties were recorded at the scene, amongst which two of them got their legs half broken, another victim leg was broken and couldn’t be found around while others sustained various injuries.”
All the victims were later rescued by the officers of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and taken to the hospital for treatment.
