Former Reps Deputy Speaker Dumps APC

Lasun Yusuf, a former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, has tendered his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is coming few hours to the National Convention of the party.

The former deputy speaker tendered his registration letter from the party at the APC Secretariat, Ogo Oluwo Osogbo on Friday.

Yusuf was a former gubernatorial aspirant of APC in 2018.

He also aspired to be the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the party’s recently concluded primary election where he came in a distant third position behind Moshood Adeoti and the eventual winner and Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.
