Ogbomoso-born politician and former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Segun Temilola Adibi has passed away after battling a long illness.
Adibi, whose death has thrown the people Ogbomoso into mourning, was a prominent figure in Oyo State politics.
Adibi, a former House of Representatives member, who represented the Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency between 1999 to 2003 in the green chamber of the National Assembly.
The PDP chieftain was widely respected for his contributions to governance and community development.
He had also served as the Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council, and Director-General of the Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA).
His death marks the end of a remarkable political journey that left an indelible mark on Ogbomoso and beyond.
