The just-concluded administration of the Federation of Ayete Students’ Union (FASU), Era of Revival, led by Comrade Saheed K. Olaosun, has distributed exercise books to senior students in all the secondary schools in Ayete community, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The distribution was done on Monday, January 6, 2025, with the intention of encouraging the students to focus on their studies.
The beneficiaries were students of Baptist High School, Ayete; Ayete Grammar School, Ayete; Muslim College, Ayete; Muslim Academy, Ayete; Angels Height College, Ayete; and Goodnews College, Ayete.
Speaking during the presentation of books, the immediate past President of the Union, Saheed Olaosun, reiterated Era of Revival’s commitment to the development of education in the community, noting that the initiative was borne out of the commitment.
Olaosun appreciated the students for their cooperation during the service of Era of Revival and support towards the huge success recorded by the administration, urging them to cooperate with the new administration.
The immediate past FASU President extended Era of Revival’s appreciation message to the management of various secondary schools in Ayete, recognizing their contributions to advancement of education in the community.
Welcoming the leaders of tomorrow back to school, the new FASU President, Comrade Muheez O. Kareem wished them best of luck, urging them to be of good conduct and be diligent in their studies.
The initiative was met with gratitude from school management and teachers who extolled the efforts of the Era of Revival, noting the positive impact that the gesture would have on the students and their academic performances.
The beneficiaries received the books with excitement, appreciated the kind gesture and vowed to make judicious use of the writing materials.
