Eruwa Youths Protest, Demand Justice For Adegoke Timothy (Pictures)
Youths of Eruwa stormed the major streets of the community to demand justice for Adegoke Timothy who was killed in Hilton Hotel owned by Chief Rahman Adedoyin Adegoke, the founder of Ooduduwa University.
The veteran radio presenter, Oriyomi Hamzat equally joined the youths who mobilized in numbers in demanding justice.
SpyGist had earlier published news surrounding the death of Adegoke Timothy who is a son of Eruwa, that was killed at Hilton Hotel where he lodged for his examination.
Timothy was said to have been murdered at the hotel where he lodged and the hotel owner had since been arrested by the Police for further investigation.
They protesting youths also displayed placards with different inscriptions calling for justice for Timothy.
Amzat Akeem, one of the protesting youths, said, “We are demanding justice for Timothy because he is one of us, he had struggled for a very long time before attaining the peak of his career. They killed him when he’s ripe to enjoy the sweat of his labour. We are calling on our government at all levels, law enforcement agencies not to relent in bringing justice for our brother, that’s the only remedy to our wound.”
Another protester, Sola Oke said, “We want to charge our government through our local government chairman who is ably present to help provide succour to the family of the late Timothy Adegoke. I must be honest with you, Timothy is the breadwinner of his family, there are lots of people who look up to him in the family and community, we want the government to kindly consider what could be done to assist the family”.
Comrade Ogunshola Oluwafemi chanted some protest songs to demand justice for his kinsman.
