The Federal Lawmaker representing the good people of Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Federal Emergency Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA, Eng. Pastor Aderemi Abass Oseni today, joined dignitaries, religious Leaders and Muslim Clerics to honor the Chief Imam of Ibadan Land, Grand Imam of Oyo state and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yoruba Land, Edo and Delta states, His Eminence,Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakre Agbotomokekere for his annual Maolud Nabiyy.
Though a Pastor, Eng. Oseni is a firm believer in religious harmony and a promoter of peaceful coexistence between people of diverse religious backgrounds.
Also in attendance for the program is the Chairman of Ilaji Farms, Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.
During the program that was held at the Ibadan Central Mosque, Oja Oba, the Guest Lecture for the event and Chief Imam of Ogbomoso Land, Dr. Yunus Tolhat Ayilara delivered a powerful lecture that emphasized on perseverance.
The plans for the proposed Agbotomokekere Mosque was unveiled at the event.
Eng. Aderemi Abass Oseni donated the sum of 50 Million Naira for the purpose of the building of the proposed Mosque.
Oseni was accompanied to the event by prominent Ibadan born Politician, and Oyo state coordinator for the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends, (ROCOF), Barr. Yemi Aderibigbe, a former Local Government Chairman in Iseyin and former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo state, Alhaji Yinka Taiwo and the Senior Legislative Assistant to Eng. Oseni, Alhaji Okedina.
