Eid-ul- Fitr: Obalowo sends Message to Muslims
The immediate past caretaker Chairman of Ibarapa East Local Government and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the forthcoming council election, Honourable Olugbenga Obalowo has send message to Muslim faithfuls in the celebration of this year end of holy month of Ramadan.
In his message, he said, “I want to specially felicitate with all my good people of Ibarapa East Local Government, most especially our Muslim brothers and sisters home and abroad on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-al-Fitri celebrations”.
“This joyful celebration is an expression of values and teachings of Islam- love, fraternity, peace & harmony, justice,piety, fairness, equity, forgiveness, peaceful co- existence, compassion and respect for those around us. This is something we can all learn from as we strive to build fairer and kinder communities”.
“As we celebrate this year Eid-al-Fitri, it is my hope and prayer that Ramadan’s spiritual lessons and the Holy Prophets’s teaching will promote greater commitment to peace, unity and stability of the nation”.
“May the blessings of the season bring joy and love to your heart and create all the opportunities of success for you and your family”, the erstwhile council boss added.
