Eruwa born Muslim Cleric, Alhaji Ismail Taiwo popularly known as Owo da, has felicitated with all the Muslim faithful in Nigeria on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, while urging Nigerians to sustain hope as a united nation.

The cleric said the season should allow Muslims the opportunity to pray for the country. He said the nation needed divine intervention to be able to overcome the challenges facing it.

“Let this Eid be the occasion of sharing the love and caring for the people who need to be loved and cared. Hope this Eid brings peace, prosperity, and happiness to everyone’s life.”

“We should as well break the barriers of religion that divide us, and unite to come back as a united nation for progress and development,” he said.

Ismail urged all Muslims as they celebrate this year Eid-el-Kabir, to use the moment to rededicate themselves to greater commitment to the commands of Almighty Allah.

He advised that people must show the true spirit of Islam in their lives and not just during Sallah periods.

He finally wished the Muslim faithful a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
