Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem Celebrate World Children’s Day, Promise To Uphold Children’s Rights
As the world marks the 2024 World Children’s Day today, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem, a gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Nigeria, has joined the global community in celebrating the rights and well-being of children.
AKK in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday, reaffirms his commitment to upholding the fundamental rights of every child, ensuring they receive the necessary support for normal development, both materially and spiritually.
Speaking further, he highlighted the key rights of every child.
“Right to basic needs; every child deserves access to food, healthcare, and education.Right to protection, children must be shielded from exploitation, abuse, and harm.
“Children should be equipped to earn a livelihood and reach their full potential. Right to social responsibility, children should be taught to utilize their talents for the betterment of society”, AKK said.
Dr. Kolapo Kareem assured that, as governor, he will prioritize the rights, ensuring every child in Oyo State has the opportunity to thrive.
He equally stated that his vision includes providing quality education, healthcare, and protection from exploitation.
“A child’s smile is the beacon of hope for a brighter future, as leaders, we must support our children with unwavering strength, empowering them to become the better Nigerian we all desire.
