Don’t Arbor A Rapist’ Akungba University Student Group Cries Out

A group of activists have cried out for justice for a rape victim in Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State.

The group who spoke in a phone conversation with our correspondent on Wednesday said the University Dean of Students Affairs, Professor Akanbi is trying to silent the rape issue.

A student of the university,, Boladele Oyindamola Olamide popularly known as Mandela was reported to have raped a 200 level student of the Adekunle Ajasin University.

The group charged the Dean of Students Affairs to treat the rape case with fairness.

“We noticed that the DSA wants to carpet the rape issue, and as freedom fighters, we can’t condone such action that can tarnish the image of our university. We don’t want the issue to fade off without fair judgement. That will serve as a lesson to others who are in the same category of raping” the group spokesperson said.
