The Councillor representing Ward 4, Aborerin, Honourable Bimbo Oluwaseyi Adeyemi Oluwatoyin, has distributed educational materials to public schools in his constituency as part of efforts to improve the quality of education in the area.
The donation, which took place on Monday, January 12, 2026, included chalks, pens, exercise books, and other essential teaching aids designed to support effective teaching and learning.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Hon. Oluwatoyin praised teachers for their dedication and resilience in shaping the future of children despite facing numerous challenges. He described educators as indispensable to nation-building and thanked them for their selfless service.

The Local Government Area Secretary, who received the materials on behalf of the schools, commended the councillor for the thoughtful gesture, describing it as a lasting legacy that would positively impact education in the ward for years to come.
Hon. Samson Oluwaseun Olalede Arelu, Personal Assistant to the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Oyo State, who attended the event, encouraged students to take their studies seriously and make good use of the materials provided. He reaffirmed commitment to supporting educational initiatives across communities.
In his remarks, Hon. Oluwatoyin thanked the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and acknowledged the support of the Personal Assistant to the Oyo Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Edward Adebo Ogundoyin. He also expressed gratitude to the people of Ward 4 for entrusting him with the opportunity to serve.
The councillor, who also serves as Majority Leader of Ibarapa East Local Government and Organising Secretary of the Oyo State Councillor’s Forum, concluded with prayers for continued peace, progress, and development in Aborerin.
The event was attended by members of the party, community stakeholders, local government officials, among others.
