After a well scrutinised nomination and screening process, Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN), a regulatory body for project management in Nigeria under supervision of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has pronounced Fatoki Michael Boluwatife as the Southwest representative member of the Governing Council.
The pronouncement was made at the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the agency held in Abuja on the 5th December, 2024.
In his acceptance speech, Fatoki appreciated all the managers at the Annual General Meeting, reaffirmed the objectives of the agency which is mandated to regulate, supervise, license, certify and withdraw licenses of project managers in Nigeria.
Speaking further, the Governing Council member said, “the CIPMN remains the bedrock for all project managers and all in the industry of such requirements. I want to encourage all organisations to adhere to the law of the agency by engaging only certified and licensed members of the institute for their projects.
“The Institute is ready to put all concerns in track to meet the international standard of Project delivery. Nigerians must operate like the developed nations and put a stop to inadequate projects planning and executions which most had led to abandon projects and a deficit to the nation’ s project standard in some cases”, he added.
Fatoki Michael is currently the Managing Director of African Real-time Group NG which includes African Surveys and Realty, African Real-time Construction, African Real-time Farms, now the Southwest representative of the governing council member of Charter Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN).
