Bala Mohammed Gets Governorship Ticket After Losing Presidential Bid

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has won the PDP Governorship Ticket after losing the party’s presidential primaries.

Governor Bala Mohammed reafirmed his commitment to see to the success of PDP At all levels.

The six hundred and forty five out of the total six hundred and fifty six PDP delegates across the state gathered here again to re elect the Bauchi state governor Bala Mohammed to run for the second term as PDP Governorship Flag Bearer after the voluntary withdrawal of the Party’s Flag Bearer Ibrahim Kashim.

The chairman electoral committee Murtala Mohammed Damagum announced governor Bala Mohammed as the winner of the PDP gubernatorial primaries who said he is the only aspirant that polled the total votes of 645.

In his acceptance speech the PDP Governorship candidate who is the incubent governor of Bauchi state thanked the former PDP Governorship Flag Bearer for stepping down For him promising to run an all inclusive government in ensuring the success of the party in the 2023 general elections.

It could be recalled that Bala Mohammed was among the top PDP Presidential Aspirants who participated in the recently concluded Primary election that was won by the former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
