Assembly Hopeful, Aderounmu Celebrate World Teachers Day, Salutes Teachers For Contribution To Nation-Building
House of Assembly Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ibarapa East State Constituency, Hon. Bayo Aderounmu has commended teachers in his constituency and nation at large in the celebration of this year World Teachers’ Day on Wednesday.
In a statement signed and made available by him, Aderounmu said that the teachers were the bedrock of the development of any nation as no other profession can metamorphose without the input of teachers.
The assembly hopeful commended teachers in Ibarapa East for their commitment to teaching and learning in all public and private schools in the local government, state, nation and world at large.
He affirmed that by next year after election, his representation at the state assembly will place a high premium on the welfare of teachers and all the civil servants in the constituency and state.
He further encourage teachers to continue to be of good conduct in their profession as the world is turning different with the technological advancement.
“I thank teachers in all our schools for their contributions to nation-building and to the intellectual development of our children.
“Our constituency is known for its greater value for education, it is on that note that I will charge our teachers to be more proactive in delivering accurately what the students will benefit and to always serve as role models to the subject.
“Next year by the special grace of God, we will push more for our teachers and the education system at large by provision of conducive teaching and learning environment for our teachers and students through the provision and necessary infrastructure and materials, salaries and other motivations that should be deployed. Give us the mandate to represent you adequately and you shall all be here to testify next year.
“As we celebrate the 2022 World Teacher’s Day, I congratulate you all our dear teachers and look forward to a productive educational output across our various schools.
